Antonio Conte and Thomas Tuchel were sent off after a 2-2 draw between Chelsea and Tottenham on Sunday. Spurs striker Harry Kane equalised in the sixth minute of stoppage time.
As they shook hands on the pitch, Tuchel urged Conte to look him in the eyes. As during the encounter at Stamford Bridge, pushing and shoving followed. Red cards were given.
Conte celebrated Tottenham’s first equaliser by barging into Tuchel’s chest, prompting a fight between the coaches.
After Reece James put Chelsea ahead in the 77th, Tuchel sprinted past Conte and along the touchline, gripping his fist.
Kane’s sixth-minute goal hit James’ thigh before sliding into the net.
Kalidou Koulibaly put Chelsea ahead in the 19th minute with a fantastic volley off a corner from Marc Cucurella. It was his first goal since coming from Napoli in the summer.
Tottenham only came to life once Richarlison was introduced. They broke a record of five consecutive defeats against Chelsea in all competitions but remain winless at Stamford Bridge since 1992.
