Indian government has unveiled a hub for industry and academic institutions to work together on social impact innovations and solutions using technology. According to a press release, the event celebrates India’s 75 years of independence (Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav) and provides a chance to introduce people all over the world to the technological revolution taking place in India.
In what ways does the Manthan platform differ from other platforms
To better accomplish India’s scientific missions and goals in line with the UN-defined Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) charter, the Manthan platform intends to foster scaled collaboration between industry and the scientific research and development ecosystem. To lay the groundwork for future science, innovation, and technology-led growth, it will include information exchange sessions, exhibitions, and events designed to foster collaboration and the sharing of expertise. NSEIT is the engine that drives this platform. NSEIT Limited is a worldwide technology firm that is wholly owned by India’s National Stock Exchange and provides a wide variety of digital, data analytics, automation, cybersecurity, and technology-enabled services.
According to Parvinder Maini, Scientific Secretary, Office of PSA, the platform would serve as the pivotal hub for achieving the country’s sustainability goals through novel concepts, creative minds, and partnerships across the public, corporate, and academic sectors.
NSEIT’s MD & CEO, Anantharaman Sreenivasan, has stated that this will aid in the widespread acceptance of novel ideas, scientifically-driven innovations, and technological breakthroughs.
