According to a new series of teasers posted on social media channels, Honda India will debut the Activa Premium soon. The scooter could be the Activa 6G’s ‘Premium’ edition, as the name suggests. It also appears that this is not the Activa 7G that we expected Honda to release.
Based through the teaser photographs, the scooter’s silhouette and lights appear to be identical to the Activa 6G. While the false vents on the front apron look identical to the ordinary model, the Premium variation gets gold-colored decorations on top of these vents; a similar gold treatment is also planned on the badging. The Activa Premium is also expected to come in a variety of new colours, including matte green.
In terms of features, it’s difficult to determine if Honda has brought anything new. It appears to have the same steel wheels as the normal scooter; whether Honda will also release an Activa with alloy wheels remains to be seen. The Activa also lacks Bluetooth connectivity, which is seen in scooters such as the Hero Pleasure, and we’re waiting to see if it’s been added to the Activa Premium to separate it from the ordinary scooter.
